Lamborghini

Talk about extreme performance glossed with flamboyance, and one word surely pops in everyone’s mind: Lamborghini.
Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., or Lamborghini for short, is an automotive manufacturer based in Sant'Agata Bolognese, a small commune in central Italy. It was founded by the manufacturing magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963, and has changed ownership many times since then. After a series of disappointments, Lamborghini finally produced the Espada, the first truly popular model from the company which sold 1200 copies for ten years.
Today, Lamborghini cars always make perfect rivals for any race track finish line. The Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, with its gloss primer grey paint, upgraded V12 engine, and optional transparent engine cover, garnered oohs and aahs when it made its debut in the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. Running a speed of 211 mph and counting a total bhp of 613.

2012 Lamborghini Aventador J

The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J is designed to set a new standard in super sports vehicles due to the power and performance that it unleashes from the moment it starts.
Performance
Boasting an incredible 700 HP from the 6.5 liter V12 engine, this beast is simply unstoppable. The appearance of this vehicle is purely Lamborghini with some minor changes to the lines and curves to offer an updated and more futuristic visual.
The body is made of a new form of carbon fiber called Carbon skin and considering the expertise that Lamborghini has shown in this area over the years you are assured it is a lightweight and durable as anything on the market.
The seats themselves are even designed with carbon materials for an entirely different experience than most aficionados are accustomed to. The entire interior is flocked with this material for a completely different look than can be expected in high end sports cars.
Exterior
The exterior is a sight to behold and available in a chrome red finish thanks to the Carbon skin body that allows for colors in this range. The wheels and fan are also in this shade of red with the chrome tint effect.
The rear view mirror is mounted in periscope fashion on an arm and support bars between the seats. There is no windshield in this monster and at high speeds the air is deflected by air dams that are strategically located, however you will feel the force on your body as you drive.
The Real Deal
The front end itself has points similar to the Mach 5 in the Speed Racer animation, though they are less pronounced and clearly add to the aerodynamics of this vehicle.
The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador J is a spectacular visually and equally as impressive in performance making this a milestone for the company and those that supports the brand and its ingenuity.

Lexus

Comfort and smoothness matched with style, Lexus line cannot help but be one of the most sought after luxury cars on the planet.
Lexus is a division of the Toyota Motor Company, an automaker located in Toyota, Aichi, Japan. It was founded by Eji Toyoda as a secret sedan project in 1983 which led to the introduction in 1989 of the first vehicle to sport the Lexus marque, the Lexus LS.
Lexus vehicles mainly include five sedans and two convertibles. The sedans are the compact IS and HS, midsize GS and Es, and the full size LS. The convertibles, meanwhile, are the IS C and SC. SUVs then resulted from the crossovers of models namely the RX, GX and LX. Hybrid models, such as the CT Hatchback and HS Sedan, also added to the list. Lexus afterwards developed the F marque, a division in charge with the production of an IS sedan variant and the LFA super car.
Lexus cars are marketed to over 68 countries, and the company has large operational centers in five countries. The marque is also included in Japan’s top ten global brads in terms of market value, and is now Japan’s biggest name for luxury vehicles.

2012 Lexus LF-LC Concept

The 2012 Lexus LF-LC Concept, a rear-wheel drive, front engine 2+2 hybrid sport coupe, was debuted at the 2012 North American International Auto Show with an eye toward indicating the direction of Lexus for the future.
The overall design concept embodied in the vehicle has its focus on the driver, but with a premium placed on elegance and beauty, futuristic technology, and evocative power.
Exterior Design
Starting with the front, designers employed a functional yet distinctive grille using Lexus elements. Using surround aluminum frames, the meshed spindle grille, allows the air intakes nestled in the lower corners give the face of the vehicle a functional air. "L"- shaped running light for daytime use and vertically-oriented fog lamps complete a unique but still-identifiable front-facing presentation.
The sleek glass roof and supports, suggests an open, greenhouse-style design and lends an airy quality to its sumptuous interior. The driver focus is evident here with increased visibility all around the concept car.
In the rear, design elements from the front have been carried over and augmented with inner-lit taillights and fog lamps with the same shape and patterning as the front lamps. The stunning design draws the viewer from the rear of the car to the signature quad exhaust pipe.
Interior & More
On the inside, the Lexus feels both open and secure, with a dual emphasis on high-technology and soft and organic forms and textures. Everything in the interior including the high-sitting console and the enveloping door panels seems to hug the driver and invite a focal point of the road ahead.
The instrument panel includes a touch-screen remote and 2 LCD screens. Using this interface the driver can control navigation tools, the sound system, and heating and cooling. On each door a touch screen allows side control of the seats, windows and mirrors. The front instrumentation is completed by layered displays that suggest a combination of retro analog style and futuristic digital elements.
With leather and metal, suede and wood carefully and artistically employed for finishing and trimming the seats and surfaces, the interior of the 2012 Lexus LF-LC Concept is elegant and advanced, comfortable and sleek, and all Lexus.

Lotus

2012 Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid

The 2012 Lotus Evora 414E Hybridincorporates several of Lotus's new developments.
The car features the latest technology in long-range electric propulsion.
It also uses the very latest technology innovations in electronics to assist the driver and has a totally new roof system and brand new interior design.
Performance
The drivetrain system has been developed in-house by Lotus Engineering. The two engines have been limited to delivering 207hp and 295lb-ft of torque to each wheel. This means the car can deliver different torque levels to each wheel and leads to higher stability without sacrificing response.
Part of the design concept for the Evora 414E Hybrid is to make the transition from standard internal combustion engines to hybrids as seamless as possible. The car is fitted with a simulated paddle shift that allows for lightning-quick gear changes and helps make the car feel like a standard sports car.
When the paddle shift, which is mounted on the steering column, is used to change gears, the synthesized engine sound also changes and modulated torque is used to create the sensation of a gearshift jolt.
Braking
The system also permits simulated engine braking by allowing the driver to downshift, something that is rare in hybrid cars because of the need to use dissipated energy to recharge batteries.
The driver can therefore dictate the braking characteristics, just as in a normal car. Alternatively, this feature can be switched off for reduced driver control leading to a more relaxed driving experience.

Exterior & Interior
Visually, the 2012 Evora 414E Hybrid is very much a Lotus but with a distinctive color scheme. The interior design team has come up with a copper theme for both the exterior and the interior. The theme, inspired by the colors associated with electrical wiring, is used extensively from stripes in the seats to inserts on the instrument panels.
The battery pack can be charged overnight from a standard mains socket, and the car can travel up to 35 miles on battery power only. The standard Lotus Range Extender gas powered engine can also recharge the batteries.

Maserati

For car enthusiasts, a trident is not symbolic of any god, but of a line of cars that are sure to prick the mind of anyone who is dying for glamour and speed.
Maserati is a manufacturer of luxury cars based in Modena, Italy. It was started in Bologna by the Maserati brothers, Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ettore, and Ernest around the year 1914. The very first Maserati is the one which Alfieri drove in 1926 and won the Targa Florio.
Today, Maserati is owned by Fiat group, the company which launched the marque into great renown. There are five current models of Maserati, the Quattroporte, a sporting-luxury sedan with four doors, the Quattroporte S, a variation of the Quattroporte, the GranTurismo, which is a 4.2 litre coupe that sits four people released in 2007, the GranTurismo S, a more powerful variant of the previous launched in 2008, and the GranCabrio, a convertible edition of the GranTurismo which was unveiled in 2009 in the Franfurt Motor Show.

2012 Maserati GranCabrio Fendi

After the marriage of Gucci and Fiat, comes another fashion house/car collaboration, Maserati and Fendi.
Popular Italian car maker, Maserati, has teamed up with the Italian fashion design company Silvia VenturiniFendi and produced a special edition of the famous GranCabriomodel.
Interior
Maserati's GranCabrio special edition is instantly recognizable due to the unique Grigio Fiamma paint job it has received. The paint job is actually 3 layers of color: two dark gray coats followed by a layer of iridescent gold.
The unique paint job isn't the only aspect of the special edition GranCabrio to drool over, however. The effect of the Fendi/Maserati collaboration is clearly visible throughout the exterior and the interior of the GranCabrio Fendi.

Exterior
Outside the car, the sleek design of Maserati's GranCabrio finished with the Fendi fashion house paint job says pretty much all you need to know. Inside the car, you'll find a specially crafted logo that features the Maserati Trident, Fendi logo plus the five digit series number located in several places.
The silver oval plaque bearing the specially designed collaboration logo is found on the dashboard, near the passenger’s seat plus on each side of the folding roof. Further marking the collaboration, is the presence of the Fendi double F logo on the seats, while the Maserati Trident is featured on each of the headrests.
Fendi's high quality leather adorns a lot of the interior, interspersed with wood trims around the doors, dashboard, gear lever and even the floor mats.
Performance
Despite all the changes that have been made to the GranCabrio's look, the technology remains the same - you still get to experience the power of the V8 engine. The 4.7 liter engine's 440 horsepower enables you to reach a top speed of close to 180mph.
The 2012 Maserati GranCabrio Fendi truly represents another perfect marriage between fashion house and car maker. The sleek redesign and the Maserati technology together make something that is truly unique and desirable.
